Alex Marz is a Miami native and has 20 years of experience as a professional Industrial Designer and Artist. He has worked with some of the top brands in the world and has just launched marz.ink, a premium Art marketplace for Auto Aficionados. Since his childhood, Alex has always imagined he would be in the art and design industry. He was always inspired from seeing his father work as an Architect and Artist.

 

With a laser-focus on wanting to become a master of art and design, he moved to NYC at the age of 17 to start his first year of university at the prestigious Pratt Institute. There, he developed a self-disciplined work ethic. He was able thrive in a competitive environment with students from all over the world. Wanting to be closer to the automotive industry, he set his sights on moving to Los Angeles; where most Car companies have their Advanced Car Design studios (Research, Design, Engineering) 

 

He was accepted to the prestigious ArtCenter College of design and after 5 years, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Transportation Design. Alex was quickly scooped up by Porsche Group Design Center California (Audi division) where he worked alongside some of the most passionate, intelligent and forward thinking individuals. 

 

After spending some time at Audi, he was recruited by the largest Advertising/Tech company in the world, Publicis.Sapient Corporation where he was a Creative Lead for many years. Exclusively working on FCA group brands: FIAT, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ferrari and helped shape the creative direction for their Websites, Apps, User Journeys and Client Presentations. 

 

With a strong lust for cars, Alex decided to create Marz.ink, a premium marketplace for Auto Art created by a professional Automotive Designer and Artist. 

 

Marz ink is a celebration of all things auto and provides premium quality Artwork in Alex's unique calligraphic and expressionism style to bring out the inner child in all of us auto aficionados. Marz ink unique art pieces come ready to hang in your living room, garages and offices. Alex's mission is to put a smile on every Auto aficionado like himself by painting the aura of the automobile.. Freedom, excitement, sex appeal, and child-like wonder, through ink!
